The Thermal Laboratory of the National Institute of Standardization and Metrology was re-equipped, according to the international exigencies compared to measurement laboratories.

At present, the laboratory can offer services of calibration and verification of the temperature measurement instruments (thermal resistances, thermocouples, glass thermometers), with the following performances:

The reference standards of the NISM are trasabile to the international scale of the temperature ITS-90.
